Berlin you are so wonderful.
You were then and still are.
Do you remember the first time when I was only a young girl?
When life was a multitude of dreams.
I was immediately in love with you. In love with life. In love with your freedom, courage, individuality, and variety.
Your free spirit gave me what I did not know before.
Confidence and momentum, as if the world belonged to me.
Feelings that were not part of my repertoire before.
A mixture of modern poetry and wild existence.
Exciting and colorful, that's how we spent the days.
You always took good care of me.
As if my parents had told you to.
I wanted to scream for joy as I rode up and down the S-Bahn with music in my ears.
This is my love note to you.
The way love is, eternal. For all times.
This is my love letter to Berlin.
In my opinion, everyone has at least one city or country in their life with which they associate something very special.
To me, that city is Berlin.
The first time I went there I was immediately hooked.
Multifaceted, diverse as I am myself, this city has immediately put me under its spell.
I would call it love at first sight.
Nowhere else have I felt more at home, freer, and more like myself than in this city.
This magnetizing feeling has never left me until today. The fire is always the same when I am there. I fall in love again and again.
Freedom, uniqueness, and individuality are not lived anywhere in Europe like here.
I always immediately turn into a real Berlin City Girl (who knows the song, feel free to sing along) and let myself be carried away by the spirit.
Just like the city, the Berlin style is unmistakable. Colorful, loud, bold, and wild.
I enjoy seeing everyone's unique personality reflected in their style. Just as it should be.
I never have understood why so many always run after trends that are so short-lived. It certainly takes time to find your own style, but if you do then you are unmistakable. Personally, I could never imagine wearing something that I do not like, just because it is trendy.
That is certainly also a reason why I love Berlin so much because here you really have the feeling that you can always be authentic. And what is more fun than being yourself?
Berlin is the best place to start and experiment with doing that.
