Fashion can be bought, style can't.
Style has nothing to do with age, looks, or budget.
For me, it's deeply connected with personality. It's a part of you that is reflected in all aspects of life.
Not only in terms of fashion but also in how you present yourself, how you talk and walk, how you furnish your home, what vacations you choose, and what hobbies you pursue.
Personal style is as unique and individual as the person who embodies it.
This is also very clear in the field of fashion when you see how one and the same piece of clothing looks and acts completely different on everyone.
That is why it is also so exciting to live this out fully in fashion and always try something new.
I believe that style also changes over and over again in the course of life. Everyone sees the world from their own eyes and has their own perspective on life. Experiences that one has had individually, all that is reflected in one's personality and preferences.
If you are not quite settled yet or still on the quest to find your style that is perfectly fine. There is no right or wrong.
Life is about getting to know all sides of yourself and trying out new things.
The important thing to remember when searching for your own look is to forget everything you have seen and believed so far.
In my opinion, this is the most crucial point of all.
Simply turn off all external influences, listen deeply to yourself, and find back to your inner truth.
What do I really like and what do I not?
Not, I think it's good because XY wears it.
I have nothing against role models, but if you are honest you will notice that more often you like something because someone else is wearing it.
Looking at everything and especially yourself as a blank sheet of paper and listening deep inside brings so many benefits and it helps to reorient and create your individual style and get back to your own personality.
Too often we are bombarded by outside influences and lose ourselves in a world that is better, faster, and newer with each passing hour, which is why it is so important to make sure that you don't get lost in all of this turmoil.
Therefore, it really makes sense to ask yourself with every purchase, do I really like that?
Acting on the first answer, being brave, and then just going for it, experimenting wildly, and combining is the best advice I can give you.
I personally don't believe in wearing only pieces for your body shape or find the colors for your skin type.
Where is individuality in that?
Any color I like is my color.
Even if you've been doing something for years it doesn't have to mean that you can't completely change and reinvent yourself at that moment.
So depending on how you want to do it, radically or step by step, it's up to you.
In the long run, you will definitely feel much more comfortable in your skin and looks if you stay true to yourself and embody your personality.
That's authentic, that's hip.
Nothing is more beautiful than when others say to you, yes that's your style, that's unmistakable, that's so you. Isn't that the nicest compliment you can get?
Imagine if Marylin Monroe or Madonna tried to be someone else?. Isn't that the nicest compliment you can get?
Isn't that the nicest compliment you can get?
Imagine if Marylin Monroe or Madonna tried to brag and copy someone else. Impossible to imagine.
Needless to say, such a complete transformation has a few side effects.
So don't be surprised about questions like, what happened to you?
